Cairo, September 20, 2026 : The General Secretariat of the Arab League has condemned the continued Houthi attacks against Saudi Arabia, including the latest launch of a ballistic missile toward Riyadh and attempts to target several other Saudi cities and regions.
In a statement issued Sunday, the Arab League described the repeated attacks as a serious and unacceptable escalation, warning that they violate Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and place civilian lives at risk.
The League said the attacks contribute to further regional tensions and threaten security and stability across the region.
It reaffirmed its support for Saudi Arabia’s measures to protect its security, sovereignty, and the safety of its citizens and residents, stressing that the Kingdom’s security is closely linked to broader Arab national security.
The statement called for an immediate halt to the attacks, restraint to prevent further escalation, and full respect for Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as adherence to international law and the rules-based international order.
